Connectivity

Now Trending has the same connectivity concept as the Now Building but with the ability removed to link between 2 panels in the same space. The guest patch rack for this zone also at Level -1 and adjacent to the Now Building and Now Pop One and Two guest patch racks.

The image below shows the layout of the connectivity panel which contains the following I/O:

• 2 x Analogue inputs and outputs directly to / from the PA system. These could be used for a DJ set up and some additional powered speakers, for instance

• 2 x Ethernet ports directly to the data centre and building LAN for internet access and to other zones

• 2 x Q-LAN ports (to connect the enhanced system rack)

• 4 x Send or Return tie lines to the Guest Patch rack

• 4 x OpticalCON Duo fibre tie lines back to the guest patch rack

• 4 x Ethernet (ETH A through D) back to the guest patch rack

And the following power

• 4 x 13a sockets

The mobile racks can be connected to the QLAN ports to add additional Analogue I/O if required. The additional tie lines and fibre connectivity will NOT work as the multi pin signal and fibre connectors have not been allowed for here.
