Football Fever Takes Over Outernet with New Interactive Experience, Goal Rush
This summer, football fans have a new reason to head to Outernet London. Goal Rush, sponsored by Skechers, has transformed Outernet's iconic Now Building into an immersive football arena where visitors can step off the sidelines and into the action.
Free to play until 17 September, Goal Rush captures the excitement of a summer packed with world-class football, turning Outernet's world-leading immersive LED screens into a live multiplayer gaming experience. Whether you're looking to challenge friends, test your reactions or simply soak up the atmosphere, Goal Rush offers a football experience unlike anything else in London.
Getting involved couldn't be easier. Visitors simply scan a QR code displayed on the screens using their smartphone, which instantly becomes a controller. From there, players can point, shoot and compete against others in real time across Outernet's spectacular 360-degree digital canvas, powered by the venue's innovative immersive technology.
The experience demonstrates how digital technology can transform spectators into active participants, blending gaming, live entertainment and sport in one unforgettable experience. It's another example of how Outernet continues to push the boundaries of immersive storytelling and audience engagement.
As Nathan Reehal, Head of New Business & Partnerships at Outernet, explains:
"Football fever has hit London with some fantastic games already in the World Cup, but neither football fans nor gamers have seen anything like this before. Goal Rush gives players the chance to take on other visitors using Outernet's peerless 360-degree technology."
Created in partnership with Skechers, Goal Rush is designed to be accessible to everyone, from dedicated football fans to families and visitors discovering Outernet for the first time.
So, if you're in central London this summer, head to Outernet, scan the QR code and see if you've got what it takes to top the leaderboard.
Goal Rush, sponsored by Skechers, is free to play at Outernet London until 17 September.
