The largest live events venue to be built in central London since the 1940's is just the start of Outernet's plans to create a new home for music in the capital.

HERE at Outernet is a brand new 2000 capacity live events venue located underneath Outernet London. With integrated colour-changing LED panels it’s a highly reconfigurable space, 10m high floor to ceiling, with a mezzanine on three sides, and equipped with state of the art production, lighting and acoustic systems that make it possible to create high-end video of any performance and live stream it globally.

Above ground on the iconic Denmark Street, the legendary 12 Bar Club has been relaunched as The Lower Third - a Bowie reference born out of venue operator Karrie Goldberg's obsession with the iconic artist. The redevelopment has retained the original smithy, a grade II listed building at the back of the 12 Bar that had to be picked up whole and put back down again to access the space below, and will be available for acoustic sets and small impromptu performances. This performance space is now called The Forge.

Music events already announced at HERE include Annie Mac’s Before Midnight club night launch event on September 9, plus performances from Sam Ryder, Hercules & Love Affair, Alfie Templeman, Berwyn, Dermot Kennedy and Gang of Youths.

Outernet London, whilst being thoroughly modern is proud to be driving the revitalisation of this part of the city, adding to and celebrating the musical lineage and heritage of what will once again be a mecca for music lovers and performers.

Philip O’Ferrall, CEO and President Outernet Global said:

“This area of London has an amazing tradition of brilliant venues but many of them have sadly gone. To open HERE and The Lower Third as part of our wider culture and music district makes us all immensely proud. It is absolutely vital that artists and fans have a place to go in the centre of our city to perform and enjoy live music and we will welcome many other types of events to our venue as well. When you factor in the incredible things we can do with the Outernet screens we move to another level and our offering is something that really can’t be found anywhere else in the world. We love the history of Denmark Street and embrace what the future holds."
