Today, we honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who stormed the beaches of Normandy 80 years ago. Their courage and dedication to freedom will never be forgotten.

In tribute, ADOT proudly supports the charity Blind Veterans UK by donating airtime to their special awareness campaign at Outernet London. Come down to see it on the state-of-the-art VISTA screens and learn more about the incredible work they do to support those who have served.

Blind Veterans UK are displaying the portraits of fourteen veterans who served in Normandy and now receive the charity’s life-changing support. The portraits were taken by award winning photographer Richard Cannon. The display at Outernet honours their legacy and directs people to the charity’s website to read their D-Day stories at blindveterans.org.uk/dday80

Blind Veterans UK supports thousands of blind veterans across the country, but knows there are many thousands more who still need its support to rebuild their lives after sight loss.
