Outernet and the British Museum have announced a pioneering partnership that will see the two major cultural institutions coming together to uniquely present the work of one of Japan’s most talented, prolific and popular artists, Utagawa Hiroshige.

Alongside the landmark exhibition, Hiroshige: artist of the open road taking place at the British Museum Outernet will bring Hiroshige’s art to life, transforming a breath-taking view from his Famous Places in Japan print series from 1832, into an immense animated installation. This will play across Outernet's giant screens using cutting-edge technology to create a serene, immersive experience for visitors.
