This summer, Outernet and borabora studios invite you to step into a new kind of magical world with the launch of Enchanted Forest: The Melody of Spirits, a first-of-its-kind interactive musical adventure premiering on 30th July in The Now Building.

Completely free and for audiences of all ages, Enchanted Forest is an interactive space where visitors can come together to create unique and mesmerising orchestral symphonies. A silent forest, once alive with melody, now lies still. Visitors are invited to help bring the music back by scanning a QR code, generating their own unique spirit character, and taking part in a live multiplayer orchestra. Using their phones, visitors can trigger different sound layers to rebuild the lost melody and bring the forest to life again. Every participant becomes part of the music.

Visitors bring the Enchanted Forest to life with music
The experience blends cutting-edge real-time multiplayer technology with live audience interaction. Enchanted Forest responds in real time to visitors’ movements, actions, and musical choices. With more than 300 variations per session, each performance evolves into something unique - an ever-changing composition shaped entirely by the people in the room.
Whether you're a solo explorer, a group of friends, or a family out for the day with the kids, Enchanted Forest: The Melody of Spirits offers an inclusive, magical journey for everyone.

We keep pushing the boundaries at Outernet and this is another leap forward in showing what is possible to do on our immense screens. Florian Woegerer, CEO of borabora studios said:
"Creating a magical space that brings smiles to people's faces and offers an escape from the busy streets of London was a truly rewarding experience. Having the opportunity to work with a 16K screen and develop real-time content that genuinely 'wows' audiences — that’s what it’s all about. The collaboration with the Outernet team went great, and we became more than just partners. A heartfelt thank you and special credits go to Dennis Meyer, our lead software architect, and Gerard Pastor from Entertainment Development, the lead composer, whose incredible work made this experience truly magical."
